Machine Summary of Turn Unit

The 90° Turner Unit is designed to change the flow direction of the PCB by 90°, clockwise or counter clockwise depending on the line set-up or configuration, automatically.

The turner sits at the corner of the production line between the upstream and downstream machines.

During Auto operation, the conveyor is located at the entrance. Upon receiving the entire board, it will shift to the centre and turn 90° (clockwise or counter clockwise depending on configuration). After which it will shift the conveyor to the exit and ready to transfer board over to the downstream machine.

The machine is designed to operate in 2 modes: AUTO MODE & MANUAL MODE

AUTO MODE : It will continuously take in PCB boards from upstream machine, turn at 90° and transfer the board downstream. Due to the variable speed of the turner, it can also serve as a single board Buffer Station.

MANUAL MODE : It is done through the switch buttons located at the control box.
